Falling Out Of Love With Love

The side effects of my cliched life
have become than the damp on the wall
the pebble in the tread
and as your collections grow I diminish
there is a pulling tide now upon the laminate lives
each moon sees a changed harbor

There is no reason for me to go beyond the personal
what has happened to this point is epitome
but perhaps if I were colloquialism recognized only by my peers
I could step to every tune played for me
and meet the challenge of pumping need
and whirl with the maelstrom

Riding The Rails Of Disparity

The approaching rain
sends the wind ahead
to ferret out the secrets
on the undersides of leaves

It will follow soon
to write new clay bank legacies
random notes
for necessary melodies

And here I am in its path
besmeared in disparity
expectationless
but ready

My only regret
all the Butterflies
that I have killed with my car
