I want to be among people who talk about ideas,
who listen to the disparate voice of mankind without fear.
What is the point of an intransigent mind
when thought is the only true freedom?

To misquote Pontius Pilate, "What is freedom?"
Freedom is the ability to harbor thoughts that you would be castigated for if spoken.
